Do you think I like my new jumper?

We got Murphy this jumper because he liked his exersaucer so much, but didn't seem to love the Johnny Jump-Up. I think he didn't feel stable enough. Looks like it was a good purchase! I have two videos to post, but blogger is not letting them load right now, so stay tuned for those!:)

Snow in East TN!!!!

We finally got some snow here in East Tennessee! Its been forever! We have had ice this year, but that does not count! It was so beautiful (and cold!) to watch as I did Bootcamp at World's Fair Park. The roads were covered around 8 a.m. on my way home! I wanted to get Murphy's picture in the snow, but everyone was still asleep when I got home. Oh, well-maybe next time! (Which will probably not be until he's 5!haha) We were kind of snowed in today, so here are some shots of Murphy playing! (Actually, the roads are now clear, but my car is in the shop and Walker needed his today, so we don't have a car with a base in it!)
Miller was quite interested in Murphy all morning and rarely left his side. Here's another cute shot of the "buddies" playing!

Go Vols!

Way to go, Vols! We are now #1!!!! Murphy didn't get to stay up for the game, but he wore his orange while he tailgated with LinLin! He wants to grab everything! (And destroy it! He got one of the petals as you can see on the table!:)
LinLin took this picture of Murphy playing in his exersaucer. She tried to get a picture of what he was doing, which was banging his head on the circle to make the animals say their sounds! She said it was the funniest thing! I guess it took too much effort to push the buttons with his hands! He is becoming such a wild man!:)

Murphy has outgrown all of his pajamas, so we bought a bunch of new ones on Friday. These are my favorites because they have little cow heads on the feet! As you can see, we are starting to grow into that big noggin, but are not quite there yet!:)

Battle of the Boulevard

Tonight is the Battle of the Boulevard, which is Lipscomb University vs. Belmont University. For those of you not familiar, this is a has always been a HUGE rivalry! Murphy wanted to cheer his Big Will on for the big game even though we can't be there!

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary! Walker and I celebrated by staying the night at Buckberry Creek Lodge near Gatlinburg. It was beautiful and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a morning of sleeping in! Murphy and I are both so blessed to have such a caring, thoughtful, and attentive husband and father! We love you! We hiked down to Buckberry Creek. They have a cool ampitheatre with fireplaces and a TV for guests to use!
View of the Smoky Mountains from our balcony- We both highly recommend this place for a weekend getway! It would also be fun for several couples to come up here and stay as well!
Murphy stayed with DeeDee and Dibs while we were away. Here he is watching me pack his stuff and anxiously awaiting all the fun he will be having as soon as mom and dad hit the road! Thanks for keeping him, DeeDee and Dibs!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Here is Murphy hanging out on Valentine's Day in his cute onesie from Uncle Wes- it says "Chicks Dig Me"! It is obvious here by the smile that he definetly believes what his shirt says!:) Murphy giving Mommy her card from him- of course he had to eat it first!

My First Sleepover!

Murphy spent the night by himself with LinLin in Nashville on Saturday night! He did a great job!! We had a wedding in Knoxville, so I met her halfway in Cookeville on Saturday and then picked him up on Sunday afternoon. He went to Big Will's basketball game, played with LinLin, Gram, and RiRi, and went to church with them on Sunday.I know he had so much fun-except for being TERRIFIED of the buzzers at the game- but we sure missed him! He is going to spend the night with DeeDee and Dibs next week when we go to the mountains for our anniversary! What a big boy!:) A good-bye kiss!

Murphy's Teeth!

We finally have a picture of the teeth! Dee Dee took this on Thursday. You can see them if you look closely!:)

I love peas!

Murphy tried his second veggie, peas, for the first time tonight. He loved them from the first bite! He likes green beans, but it took him a couple of days to really eat them. He likes the baby food green beans, but did not like the ones I made as much. I am so excited that he liked the peas because I had him try the ones I made first! I love babies with messy faces!:)

9 O'clock Cotillion

9 o'clock Cotillion was on Friday night. We had a great time! I had big plans for taking lots of fun pics, but of course that's easier said than done at a big event.
