Feels Like Spring... At least for the Weekend!

We had the best time spending most of this weekend outside! Murph loved playing with his water table and in the dirt on Friday!

On Saturday, we went to Car-la-line's (Caroline Smith's) 4th birthday party at Ijams nature center. They couldn't have asked for a better day! They got to see a real owl!

Murph raised his hand when she was taking questions, and honestly, I was terrified of what might come out of his mouth. (Mostly I was thinking he would ramble on about non-relevant facts about Toy Story or Spider-man.) But, he actually said,"Hey, will dat owl bite my weg?" At least it was on the subject!:)

They went on a treasure hunt through the woods and Murph kept up nicely! He seems too big to me here!

When they found the treasure chest, it had a kaleidoscope for each child! Murph picked an orange one.

Healthy Weekend!

We are finally healthy! (I hope!) We went to the zoo Saturday and had a great time! This monkey was so cool! He put on quite a show and even gave Murphy a "high five" through the glass!

Murph was also ready to go play with his church buddies on Sunday. They looked for the lost sheep in Sunday School!

NeNe got him this coat in the fall and I'm just getting around to taking his picture in it. As Murphy would say, "I lookin' sharp!"

YUCK!

We have been battling a stomach bug at our house this week- YUCK! Murphy was so sweet to share his germs with Daddy and NeNe!:( He seems to be on the mend, but it has been a rough one! Here is the little patient nursing a popsicle! Here's to a much healthier week next week!
