Another visit to the ER, Charleston Style!

We had to make a trip to the ER on our Spring Break in Kiawah on Sunday. We were pretty sure that Murphy had croupe, and we were right! We had to go in because he had stopped drinking and wetting his diapers and was really not getting good breaths after being in a steamy bathroom! Luckily, we got a breathing treatment and some medicine, and we are slowly getting better! We also have seen sun and 70 degree temps today, so we are going to hope to finish our Spring Break on a high note! Here are some pics of our good little patient! (Unless someone in scrubs came in!) Riding on the doctor's stool with DeeDee!

Starting to perk-up after his breathing treatment!

Blocking the door so the doctors couldn't get to him- haha!

Escaping! Do you feel a draft, Murph?:)
We had our 18 month appt. last Tuesday before we left and Murphy had to get his finger pricked and a shot. Needless to say, he had not forgotten! No one stuck him in any way at his hospital visit, but he was still terrified, even of just the stethoscope. Anyway, here are the 18 month stats: Height- 32 and a half inches- 56th percentile, weight- 25 lbs.-38th percentile, and his head is still in the 80th percentile! He definitely had a huge growth spurt upward! Yay!!!

Sorry to hear he was in the ER. That is not a fun place to be. Luke is also terrified of Doctors in white coats:) Hope the rest of the trip goes ok. Enjoy the nice weather. It was actually 70 in Michigan today...so glad!

He is so cute in his paper gown. I am sure glad Debbie was there to help out. I remember how scary it was when Will had it. Can't wait to squeeze him soon.
