15 Month Check-up!

Murphy had his 15 month check-up and immunizations this morning. He did really well, even though he remembered that it is not fun to go to the doctor!:) He has had a big growth spurt from his 12 month stats! Here they are: weight-24 lbs. 6 oz. (47%) height-30.4 in. (25%) and head circumfrence-49cm (91%) At 12 months, he was 41% in weight and only 5% in height! We are excited about the growth, especially in height!!!!

We have not been up to much since getting home from the beach. We went to Nashville last weekend for my high school girls christmas party at Heather's. I had so much fun catching up with friends. Other than that, we have just been trying to get ready for Christmas! We are going to try to see Santa later this week!

November Beach Trip

We had a great time at the beach! It was cold, but sunny so we got to spend lots of time on the beach! Murphy loved riding in the cab behind the bike. He even fell asleep in it on the beach! He also had so much fun exploring the beach and the house on two feet this time and getting tons of attention from both grandmothers, DeeDee and LinLin! Here is a funny family shot of us trying to get him to stay still- an impossible task most of the time!:)

This boat was stuck the whole time we were at Kiawah. It was really neat to see how they were trying to get it out. Evidently, there had been some serious drinking going on by the Captain!

Headed to the beach!

We are headed to Kiawah tomorrow until Tuesday! Here are some retro pics of our trip last year! I can't believe that it has already been a year since Murphy's very first beach trip! It was really warm at the beginning of the week last year, but it doesn't look like it will be this time! Although, there is no rain in the forecast, so that is great! I can't wait to see what he does on the beach now that he can walk and sort of run!:)

Great Weekend!

We have had a great weekend! Murphy is finally back to himself and has had so much fun this weekend. So have mommy and daddy! We played at Sprout Studio on Friday and Walker and I went to eat at the Melting Pot on Friday night with the Vogel's and Wortham's. Murphy had so much fun playing with Miss Abby while we were out! I took him to the NCAA South Regional Cross Country Meet on Saturday to watch the Lady Vols run! He really liked running toward all of the mud puddles! Walker and I went to the UT Men's Basketball game Saturday night and Murph stayed at home with Miss Erin. We all had a blast! It has been a very busy, but fun weekend! Above and below are pics of Murphy wearing his "cape". (Daddy's shirt) For some reason he loves to take anything out of the laundry basket and put it around his neck like a cape! He is so silly!

Sharing, or hogging-should I say, Daddy's pickle. He grunts and yells anytime we have a pickle until it is finished- usually by him! Luckily for Murph, we don't mind sharing!:)

He still chews everything! Here the lucky victim was the cordless phone! (I just saw that he has a snack container hanging out of his mouth in the pic above! He always has something in his mouth and I hardly even notice it anymore!)

I love this pic! Murphy loved playing with Geri at the CC meet. He was giggling at him the whole time! I hate that you can't see Geri's face here!

Murphy was all over the place! When I got home I felt like I had run a 6K race with the girls! (There is baby Teagan in the stroller, but she was all bundled up b/c it was freezing!) I think Mo and Geri were very glad they had a 3 month old and not a crazy 14 month old wild man running around and NOT wanting to sit in the stroller!

Btw, what about this child says, "I'm a little girl?" At least 4 people commented on how cute my little girl was! He's got on a blue coat for crying out loud!! :) It was hilarious!

Sick baby!

Murphy has been under the weather for the past few days with a tummy bug. Luckily, he is starting to act more like himself! I forgot how active he was until today-when he was back in full force! Here he is loving on LinLin and looking at the balloon she brought him!:) Playing with his balloon and downing his pedialyte in his cute bathrobe from Aunt Abs!

My cousin John David and his girlfriend, Whitney, came by on Sunday to visit Murphy before they headed back to Jackson. Murph was feeling better and had fun showing them his toys and books!

Priceless...

Last week Murphy went to visit his great grandfather, "Gramps". He is Walker's grandfather and is 99 years old! Here they are on the way back down the hall from looking at the birds. What a priceless pic!
