Nashville Baby Shower

Pam and Heather hosted my baby shower in Nashville at Pam's house. We had a great time! Heather has been my best friend since Kindergarten! Heather and her whole family are family to me, so this shower was very special! She said the sweetest prayer before we ate that made my cry! It is amazing that now we will both have sons who will be fairly close in age to be friends as well! I am so thankful for her and her family!
Here are two of my Knoxville friends- Whitney, who came to Nashville with me, and Elizabeth, who lives in Nashville now! Elizabeth has been friends with Walker since Kindergarten!
I am opening the gift from my mom- a sweet rocking horse! It looks great in the nursery!

Our Crazy Dog

This is how I caught Miller this afternoon when I came downstairs. Apparently, he was trying to catch a fly! After about 20 minutes, he was finally successful! He had such a satisfied look on his face shortly after. He is so weird... but I guess I am too for taking a picture and then waiting for him to catch it! I promise this blog will be better once I have a child to blog about! hehehe

I LOVE LAUNDRY!

I have the greatest husband in the world! He decided last week that I do too much laundry and our energy costs are suffering! Since there's no chance I'll stop doing laundry anytime soon, he suggested we invest in a high efficiency washer and dryer. They were delivered today and I am so excited! (On my first load I was able to do 6 towels and a bath mat with only one dry cycle!) I am obviously easily entertained! Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement! (I know I am not normal!) Knoxville Baby Shower

I had so much fun at my baby shower in Knoxville given by my friends Whitney Cleveland, Julia Bright, Kellie Vogel, Tinsley Youmans, Whitney Haslam, and my sister-in-law, Abby Flowers. We had an awesome time! The food was fabulous!They also put out the cutest pictures of Walker and me as babies! (I hope Murphy will be as precious as his daddy was as a baby!) All of my Knoxville friends are so sweet and really put a lot of time in to planning the shower! (I think Whitney has been planning since the minute I told her I was pregnant!) Miller always loves to wait for something to drop on the floor when we eat! He is kind of a spoiled doggie and will have a hard time adjusting when Murphy gets here! Halle doesn't like to pose very much, so this is all I have of her. Hopefully they will learn to love, or at least live with, baby Murphy!

Vacation!

This past week we were at our favorite beach spot, Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Walker and his family have been vacationing here each summer for almost 30 years!!! Walker has celebrated almost every birthday of his life there! I was lucky enough to be added when we started dating 5 summers ago. The Pawley's trip is filled with good food, family, good friends (The Bruner family), and a whole lot of laying on the beach! We always have a blast! This year our group was smaller- Walker's parents, us, his sister Abby and her husband Graydon, Joe and Helen Bruner, and their son, Collin! We really missed Walker's brother Wes who is doing his residency in Pediatric Cardiology in Seattle, Austin, Collin's wife, who is studying for the SC bar exam, and Justin and Wendy Bruner, who just got married and live in Hermosa Beach, CA! Maybe next year we can all come! (We will definetly need a bigger house!)
